Oh, I am seeing this for the first time, now.  What a loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  Mr. C put generations of children on a lifelong track of health and sports.  He taught fair play and made sports fun. I will be teaching my kids the benefits of sports, fair play and fun just as CZ taught me.  God bless Mr. C for all the good he did.  He was a blessing to us all.

I just came across this. Coach Cz was my freshman soccer coach at Toms River East.  He was such a nice guy.  I hadn't seen Cz since high school until the fall of 2013.  I ran into him at the Atlantic City airport. When I called to him, he recognized me right away. We talked about what we were doing, he asked about guys that were on the team with me that year.  Such a nice guy.

CZ and Kathy, we were shocked to hear of Big CZ's passing.  Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  Bob was greatly admired by everyone who knew him, may he rest in the eternal peace and mercy of our Lord in heaven.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing to his much deserved eternal reward. A terrific person.  Liked but most of all respected by every athlete and coach at QC.  His friendship and respect extended to everyone he met at Quincy and throughout his successful career.  A true winner and dedicated educator.

So sorry that Mr. CZ has passed. He was always wonderful to my son. He will be fondly remembered by our family forever. Our deepest condolences to his family.

Mr. CZ. made a difference in more lives than could ever be counted. I will never forget the great memories of gym class and the summer recreation program. He taught me to play tennis and many years later, I taught many youth in the same program in IH. He showed up unannounced at the county champions when I was in high school. As a father now, I frequently speak of him to my 16 year old daughter and apply life lesson he taught me. What more could be said about a great man. Rest is peace my friend, you will Never be forgotten.

Dan, I am so sorry about the loss of your brother. He was such a good guy and I have a very fond memory book of him in my mind, be it from college or golfing together or the fun we had at his being inducted into the QU hall of fame event. I am sure he is in the hall of fame in the hearts of so many people....my sincerest condolences to you Dan, my big brother....tp

I will never forget CZ and how he impacted my life.  I was fortunate to have been coached by him at Toms River south.  He was always so encouraging and positive.  He introduced  me to my college soccer coach, took me to see college soccer games and practices...he  encouraged me to pursue soccer further.  His encouragement, made such positive impact in my life, I have always been so grateful to have known CZ...CZ I thank you for your guidance, you will be missed by all...

He was a great person who loved to teach, coach and support those he came in contact with.  This is a terrible loss and he will be greatly missed. I feel lucky to have known him and had the opportunity to spend some time with him on the soccer field.

So sorry to hear this. He was very close to my father back when we were growing up and taught all of us how to play tennis. He will be missed.

Mr. C was a big part of all the Blevins children's childhood memories. He also touched the lives of my children. So many kids feel better about themselves because of his life's work. Thank You Mr. C.

Mr. C was a very influential man in my life. He was my gym dad! He taught me to be the best I could be. I'm now a father and a coach and find myself telling stories about my days at Island Heights often - passing on some of the leassons from Mr C. Rest in peace.

Mr. CZ was one of a kind... dedicated his life to work with children and made us who we are today. He was the best gym teacher and gymnastic coach I ever had. He never gave up on anyone, he worked hard and gave everyone in the room a smile. He will be missed but never forgotten. My condolences to the family of CZ. I have many fond memories from him coaching all our soccer teams at TRHS East, to him taking us water skiing, then for root beer and burgers!  Glad I had the pleasure of knowing him. RIP....

Mr. C, Thank you for all you shared with the Town of Island Heights.  Your mark was not etched, it was hammered in stone to many kids, which is the greatest attribute of a great teacher.

I have such fond memories of Mr. C from my years at IHGS.  His dedication and commitment to all the kids he worked with for so many years is an inspiration.  His was truly a life of service.  Prayers of Peace to his family and friends.

Mr. CZ dedicated his life to his students. I count myself among one of the very lucky individuals who had the pleasure of knowing him over his 42 year career. He taught generations of students and made each one feel special. I know of no other teacher who had such a loyal following. We will miss you CZ.  We were lucky to have you with us. My condolences to the entire Czarniewski family. It sounds like the family and the entire community lost a wonderful man. May his memory be for blessing!

Mary & I were absolutely shocked when we heard of Robert's passing.  Perhaps it shows my age, but there is not a time growing up and spending my summers in Ocean Gate that Robert wasn't involved in organizing some athletic activity, weather it was swimming lessons, basketball league, or softball games.  He was always a good friend.  We'll miss him.

Your life achievements say it all. You will be missed.

Stink

From where we sit, there was not a better guy!  Mr. CZ was one of a kind, caring, champion of his "kids."  We will NEVER forget his kindness and how incredible my kids felt when CZ took time out of his busy schedule to show up at one of their travel soccer games!  The man had a way of making all the children in his life feel important and he was always genuine.  He will be missed by the community he was a part of for so long!  Our love and thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time, but hope they find comfort in the incredible and positive impact he made on so many!

He was my husbands gym teacher 35 years ago and my daughters for the last 5 years. Everyone loved him and he will be dearly missed.

Bob Cz had a positive impact on essentially every student who went to the Island Heights Grade School since he started. He not only was a gym teacher, he was a friend to all, including the parents of the children and he was a mentor.
I was fortunate to work for Cz for 4 years with the recreation program in IH and helped him with gym class when I was in middle school. Taught me so many things about sports and life in general. He took many of his students to lunch or to play golf.  
He always followed his students in high school sports and tried to attend as many as those games as possible. I know he came to many of my nieces and nephews games. He did so not because he was obligated, but because he wanted too. Cz never had a bad thing to say about anyone and he will be sorely missed by so many. Rest in Peace Cz. You were a rock to the youth of Island Heights !!!

As we extend our heartfelt condolences, we remember CZ as a remarkable man. He had a unique gift, truly caring for ALL his students....Always taking time even in his off hours to chat, attend a game, or just to make an encouraging phone call. Our five children were fortunate to know CZ not only as their mentor, but also as a friend. We are all deeply saddened, CZ will be sorely missed. The Capron Family

CZ- thank you for devoting your life to our kids! My girls will always remember you as one of their favorite teachers and IHGS won't be the same without you. You are missed.

Bob could give constructive criticism and make you feel like an accomplished athlete at the same time.  I will miss our talks and Western Civ about the days on Cornell's boat floating and playing baseball out on the bay or river depending on who you talk to.  Could never beat him in B ball. It was Calvin Murphy versus  Walt Frazier match ups.  I will miss our annual summer catchup.
