Born in South Plainfield, Mr. Noble proudly served in the United States Army and upon completion of his services, returned to South Plainfield. He was the owner of Vernon & Briar Tank Services in Edison for twenty-two years. He relocated to the Toms River area five years ago and was an active member of the Jackson Elks Lodge. One of his favorite pastimes was riding motorcycles with his fellow Elks.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Justina Noble as well as his siblings, Jean Noble, Robert Noble, Marion Marcoux. Surviving is his wife, Patti Noble; children, Richard Noble Jr, and his girlfriend, Stacy, Tina Noble, and Kathy Noble; grandchildren James Noble, Chelsea Woods, Kaitlin Woods, Tyler Noble, Rachel Groom, William Groom, Collin Groom, and Alison Groom; siblings Betty Lou Brown and Ronald Noble Jr.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Cremation is private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4PM to 8PM at Jackson Elks Lodge, 1059 E. Veterans Highway, Jackson.
