We didn't get to spend much time together but when we did it was your infectious smile an sense of humor that left me with the knowledge,  life has only just begun for myself your grandson an my wife your grand daughter Pauli Ann.  To see how much fun you were still having at such an age while truly loving the woman of your dreams every single day til the end encouraged me to be a better person not only to others but especially to my wife. I'll make sure to look up at the heavens every time I do something stupid just at a chance to hear your comments which would surely make me laugh. 

God, look over my grandfather as he looks over us. Keep him safe with your love as we pray you will keep him near to you and safeguarded.

Uncle Rene was always good to me. When mom and i would go to visit, he would  take the kids to get a treat of some kind when we were kids. He was always good to my family and I. What memories i have of him have always been happy memories You will be missed.
