Philomena Gonnella, 95, of Tinton Falls, NJ passed away on Wednesday November 19, 2013 at Kensington Court in Tinton Falls. Born in Hoboken, NJ, she lived in Weehawken prior to moving to Toms River 30 years ago. Philomena was very active in her community and loved her family dearly.
Philomena was predeceased by her beloved husband Carmine and also 4 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Angela and Daniel Zych; her granddaughter and her husband Andrea and Chad Vahosky and also many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday November 22nd from 4 to 8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 23rd at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
