Patricia Ann Steer

Patricia Ann Steer, 73, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on November 9, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lakewood, and lived in Island Heights before moving to the Berkeley section of Toms River. Patricia was a member of Island Heights Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by them.

Patricia was pre-deceased by her son Adam Steer, her father Harold Sheldrick, her sister Joan Small, her nephew William Small and her great-niece Jessica Small. She is survived by her loving husband George Steer, with whom she enjoyed 57 years of marriage; her son William Steer of Manahawkin: her two daughters: Carolyn Hofmann of Toms River, and Jennifer and her husband John Bryan of Manahawkin; her six grandchildren: Cory, Katie, George, William, Jorden, and Christian; her three great-grandchildren: Alia, Mila, and Lilliana; her mother Margaret Sheldrick and her sister Katherine and her husband Joseph Beyer; and her many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, November 19, from 1pm to 3pm, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Patricia’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
