Molly V Russo

Molly V. Russo, 102, of Whiting, NJ passed away on Wednesday September 30, 2020 at The Pines at Whiting while surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was a lifelong resident there until she moved to the Toms River area in 1986. Molly had worked as an executive secretary on Wall St. She loved to cook and entertain, dancing, travelling, going to Atlantic City, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Molly was predeceased by her husband John F. Russo; her brother Sal Cravotta; and her sisters Lily Ficarra and Marge Calafiore. She is survived by her daughters Phyllis Esposito and Rosalind Tortorelli; 4 grandchildren Rob, Dina, Laura and Alicia and 4 great-grandchildren, Amber, Brandon, Mikey, and Jake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 8, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on at 10:45 am Friday October 9, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church 30 Schoolhouse Road Whiting, NJ 08759. Burial will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery 350 Provinceline Road Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
