Michael Stenger, 91, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday May 8, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Hungary Michael had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Toms River 30 years ago. He was a Mason with Ambassador Construction Company until his retirement in 1990.
He loved is job and was proud of his accomplishments. Coming to America as an immigrant in 1958, he knew that hard work was the key to success. In addition to working on many of the New York’s treasured buildings, he enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing and most of all Atlantic City. Golden Nugget was his second home!!!
Michael was predeceased by his loving wife Marie in 2019 and is survived by his three children and their spouses; Christine and Bill Vulpis of Marlboro, NJ), Elizabeth and Michael McManamon of Gainesville, VA and his son Harry Stenger and Wendy Brothers of Craryville, NY. Also surviving are his grandchildren Nicole and Dana McManamon, Gabriella Avramenko, Natalie Vidolin and Nicolette Vulpis and great grandchild Wyatt McManamon.
