It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of MaryAnn Kelemen Cobianchi, age 64, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Clifton, NJ, who passed away on December 28, 2024. MaryAnn was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
MaryAnn was born on June 23, 1960, and throughout her life she was known for her loving, nurturing nature and incredible ability to make everyone feel special. Whether through her devotion to her family or her generosity toward friends, MaryAnn had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. She always went out of her way to ensure that others were having a great time, and her warmth and kindness were evident to everyone who knew her.
MaryAnn was a proud mother to three children: James Cobianchi, Janette Cobianchi, and Kristina Cobianchi. She was also the adored grandmother of seven: John, Anthony, Christian, Jennabelle, Jayden, Lucas, and Kylie. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and she treasured every moment she spent with them. They will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
MaryAnn is also survived by five beloved sisters: Suzanne Matarazzo, Linda Clark, Janet Assal, (twin) Debi Rutkowitz, and Irene "Mimi" Kelemen. MaryAnn’s close bond with her sisters was a constant throughout her life, and together they shared many cherished memories.
MaryAnn was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Irene Kelemen, whose memory she held dear throughout her life. Her mother’s influence and love shaped the woman MaryAnn became, and their reunion brings peace to those who knew them both.
Born and raised in Clifton, NJ, MaryAnn later made her home in Toms River, NJ, where she enjoyed a peaceful life surrounded by her family. MaryAnn’s kind spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered, and her gentle, loving presence will be deeply missed.
MaryAnn’s family and friends find comfort in knowing that her love and light will never be forgotten. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Rest in peace, MaryAnn. Your love, laughter, and boundless warmth will remain in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Cremation is private.
