Marjorie D’Angelo, 89, of South Toms River, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Newark before moving to South Toms River 55 years ago. Marjorie was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and spending time with her family meant the world to her.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2005, her brother Donald Kennedy and son-in-law John Creviston. Surviving are her son Ralph D’Angelo and his wife Harriet of Jackson; daughter Nancy Creviston of Lanoka Harbor; three sisters in-law Barbara Kennedy of Toms River, Joyce Yatcysn of Manchester and Mary Bryant of MS; her grandchildren Joseph, Christine and Alice; and her cherished great grandchildren Joseph and Emily.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville. A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia at www.hospitals.jefferson.edu/ or to St. Barnabas Church in Marjorie’s memory.
