Margaret Reon Werner

Margaret grew up in New York City and graduated from Washington Irving High School. She worked as a secretary in NYC before marrying the love of her life Michael and moving to NJ to raise her family.

For over 20 years, Margaret worked for Visiting Home Care of Ocean County. Caring for others came naturally to her. Her kindness knew no bounds.

As Aunt Reon, she shared her love and wisdom with everyone in her path. She had a gift for making people feel loved and special and rarely did she encounter a child or animal that she didn't love. Reon was a cherished friend to many, at all stages of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish and enjoyed spending time with her church family.

She adored her children and found great joy in her grandchildren, nieces and nephews-both biological and family of the heart.

She was predeceased by her husband Michael J Werner, her parents Charles and Margaret Barrentine and her brother James Barrentine.

She is survived by her daughter Catherine T Werner of Toms River and her son, Michael B Werner, his wife Dr Marie DiDario and their children Henry, Andrew, Cecilia and Elise.

Visitation will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ on Thursday, January 16 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held Friday January 17 at St Joseph's Church in Toms River, NJ with burial to follow.
