Louise Lorusso

Louise Lorusso (Nee Fasulo), 89, of Toms River, NJ peacefully entered into the eternal light on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Originally from Orange, Louise settled down with her beloved husband John in West Orange for many years before their retirement in Toms River. Louise worked as a head bookkeeper before having children. After raising her family, Louise worked in sales for Walter Bauman Jewelers and later as a loving and caring lunch aide at the local elementary school. Her family was her life. Her favorite days were spent with her granddaughters at the beach or with family celebrating holidays over a festive meal.

Louise was predeceased by her husband John in 2000, her brother Alex Fasulo and sisters Mildred Servedio and Susan Fasulo. She is survived by son Michael Lorusso; daughter Vita Davis (Brad); granddaughters Jennifer Davis Deahl (Tom) and Laurel Davis Scott (Jamie); great-grandson Carson John Deahl and her sister, Lucy Fasulo.

She was a communicant of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Our Lady of the Lake Church and St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday March 16, 2023 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph RC Church 685 Hooper Ave. Toms River, NJ 08753. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery 56 Cedar Grove Road Toms River, NJ 08753. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Louise’s memory to the charity of your own choice.
