Louise Marie Hubbard of Toms River was called to her eternal rest on November 14. Mrs. Hubbard, 92, the youngest of nine children of John and Carmella Imbriaco, was born in Elizabeth, N.J. on February 10, 1919.
Mrs. Hubbard, born Louise Marie Imbriaco, was a graduate of Battan High School in Elizabeth. During the 1940s she was employed by General Instrument Co., and later by the Wilpon Insurance Agency. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Parish, Toms River.
During World War II she met a handsome sailor in New York City, Francis Harry Hubbard of Oxford, MD. The couple was wed on October 3, 1948. Her beloved husband Francis “Frank” Hubbard went to his rest on June 2, 1991.
She is survived by sons Richard of New Orleans, LA, and wife Robyn; John of Valencia,CA, and partner Ron and Thomas of Manasquan, NJ and his wife Lynn. Mrs. Hubbard is also survived by three grandchildren, Maren Oser of Albuquerque, NM, and husband Khyber; Lauren Hubbard of Orlando, FL, and fiancé Ryan Williams; and Daniel Hubbard of Philadelphia. She is also survived by one great-grandchild, Juniper Rae Oser of Albuquerque. Mrs. Hubbard always took great delight in her extended family. She leaves sister-in-law Nora Goodwin of Oxford, MD along with numerous nieces and nephews from the Imbriaco family, most residing in New Jersey.
Visitation will be held Friday November 18th, 2011 from 8:30am-9:30am at The Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30am at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Toms River. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
