Leo Q. Bernardino

Leo Q. Bernardino, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on February 12, 2015 in Nevada. He was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. in 1962. He and his family initially lived in Los Angeles, California, lived for a time in Michigan, and then settled in various places in Central and South New Jersey before moving to Nevada. He retired from Lucent Technologies in Basking Ridge, NJ, as an accountant. Leo was a member of the Filipino American Association and was an avid Yankee fan.

Leo cherished his family and will be dearly missed by them. He was predeceased in 2012 by Linda, his beloved wife and childhood sweetheart. He is survived by his loving children: Vernon T. Bernardino and his wife Alexandra; Jan Sharina Reynolds and her husband Thomas; Roselynne B. Johnson and her husband Arthur Jr.; and five cherished grandchildren, Tyler Lee Markle, Kelly Lynn Markle, Ryan B. Johnson, Brandon T. Markle and Logan M. Johnson. Leo is also survived by his sister Connie Maninang and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 22nd, from 2-4 and 7-9PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11AM at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road in Bayville, NJ. Burial will be immediately following at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood, NJ.
