Kelly Ann Mehl

Kelly Ann Mehl, 40, of Toms River, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Jackson before moving to Toms River. Kelly was employed at Illusions Hair & Nail Salon in Freehold and was a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School.

Predeceased by her father, Robert Ptaszynski, she is survived by her loving husband, John J. Mehl and their newborn son, John Jr.; and her beloved mother, Joanne Cunningham.

She will always be remembered by her brother, Robert Ptaszynski and wife Mary; brother, Joseph Ptaszynski and wife Janine; sisters, Jennifer Johnson, Mary and Heather Ptaszynski; sisters-in-law, Maureen Mehl and Ann Mehl and her boyfriend Mark McDevitt; brothers-in-law, Walter Mehl and wife Kristin, and Michael Mehl and wife Liz.

Kelly will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Richie, Erin, Nadene, Joey Jr., Briana, Destiny, Andrew, Alexis, Abby, Justin, Walter, Michael, Alexandria, Nathaniel, Griffin, Jared and Michaela.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Mass to celebrate Kelly's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at St. Luke R.C. Church, 1674 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River.
