Kathleen Weltner, 94, of Whiting, NJ, died Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Whiting Healthcare Center. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Clark for 34 years and Toms River for 27 years before moving to Whiting 4 years ago. She worked for the American Can Company in Hillside, NJ for 27 years retiring in 1978.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Howard J Weltner and her son Richard Weltner. She is survived by her daughter Carol A. Sliker of Whiting; her son, Robert J. Weltner of Glendive, MT; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Saturday, December 5 at St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
