Josephine Szewczuk, 97, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on January 13, 2022 at Port St. Lucie Rehabilitation Center. Born in Jersey City, Josephine lived in Avenel, NJ and Holiday City in Berkeley Township before moving to Florida 15 years ago. She had worked at Excelsior Truck Leasing in Kearny, NJ for many years.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband John. She is survived by daughters Annmarie Olsen and her husband Sterling and Genevieve Palagyi; her son John M Szewczuk and his wife Patricia and she is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 10-12 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery 350 Provinceline Rd Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
