Josephine Nicosia

Josephine Nicosia, 89, of Toms River passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ, she resided in Union, NJ prior to moving to Toms River in 1979. She was predeceased by her loving husband August and son Paul Nicosia. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law August and Terry Nicosia of Toms River, grandchildren Stephen Nicosia, Russell Nicosia, Nicole Rossbach, Brooke Ellner, Joshua Aaron Nicosia and wife Kelly Aaron and Paul Nicosia and partner Bill Ellert, great-grandchildren Zoe Aaron, Sophia Aaron and Maxwell Aaron, sister-in-law Grace Porembo, many nieces and nephews and loving friends. Visitation will be Thursday January 9th, 2014 from 4-8pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 8pm after visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday January 10th, 2014 at 11:15am at St. Michael R.C. Church, 1212 Kelly St., Union, NJ 07083. Interment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
