Joseph DeAngelis, 86, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020. Joseph was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Toms River 18 years ago. Joseph was the Owner and Operator of a successful Garment shop on West 25th street in New York City. Joseph also served his country proudly as a United States Army Veteran.
Joseph was an avid baseball fan and loved his New York Mets. He also enjoyed crabbing, fishing, bowling, and bocce. He loved going to Atlantic City with his wife and going to the horse racing track.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Diane, and survived by his children Steven, Robert and wife Lauren, Diane, Michele and husband Michael, and Joseph and wife Christine. He also had 12 loving grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday December 1, 2020 from 3-7 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday December 2, 2020 12 pm at St. John’s RC Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow to the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
