John was born on August 30, 1947, in Linden, NJ as the son of the late Evelyn (Peno) and John Wozesniewski. He proudly served as a Boatswain’s Mate in the US Navy aboard the USS Stark County during the Vietnam War where he earned a Distinguished Service Medal, a Letter of Commendation for meritorious achievement battling a ship fire, and the Vietnam and National Service Medals. He is survived by his beloved wife Lorraine (Strychowski) Wozeniewski of Whiting, NJ, his daughter Kristen (Wozesniewski) Hawalka, son-in-law Shawn Hawalka and three grandchildren, Lily, Ben and Kaylee, all of Medford, NJ.
