Joanne Anzalone

Joanne C. Anzalone, 78, of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday December 26, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Joanne had lived in Lakewood for 20 years before moving to Berkeley Twp., four months ago. Joanne enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading mystery books especially ones by Agatha Christie. She was a Communicant of St. Athanasius RC Church, Brooklyn, NY.

Joanne was predeceased by her son John Moukios, her brother, Joseph Reda, her sister Marie Acca and her parents Frank and Josephine Leone. Surviving are her beloved husband of 48 years, Alfred, her devoted son Peter Moukios and his companion Stephanie Grasso, her 3 granddaughters, Jessica, Allison and Melissa and her sister Elena Gargano.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2020 12 pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
