Jessica Susan Abdi

Jessica Susan Abdi, 33, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was born in Plainfield, NJ and was a longtime resident of Toms River. Jessica loved her family and friends and they were the most important thing in her life. You could always know when Jessica was around because of the laughter and smiles, when she walked into a room the room just lite up. With her classic beauty and her sense of style and her selfless personality she was a one of a kind.

With her short amount of time on this earth her only goal was to help people, she found such excitement to be able to share her thoughts as well as her gentle touch with you. Anyone who had the chance to meet Jessica would always remember that they had been touched by her.

Jessica’s main focus in life was her son Ju’wel, he is the light of her life and the center of her family and we are grateful that she will be his guardian angel for all the years to come.

She was predeceased by her grandparents. Surviving are her loving parents Hossein and Rosellen Abdi; her cherished son Ju’wel Elliott; her brother Daniel Abdi and girlfriend Debrah McClanahan; uncles Mitch Gordon and Richard Pedersen and David Gordon and his wife Fay; and many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec 3 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made out to The Jessica Abdi Memorial Fund and sent to Jessica’s mother. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
