Geri C. Austin

Born in Moline, Ill. and raised in Nutley; Geri lived in Salt Lake City and Toms River before settling in Beachwood where she raised her family. A graduate of Nutley High School (class of ‘65) and X-Ray Technician school, Geri worked as an attendance officer at Toms River Intermediate East for more than 25 years. She enjoyed baking and road trips; however, her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was cheering on her children and grandchildren at countless sporting events.

Geri is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry and her parents Larry and Madge Sohl.

She is survived by her beloved children Scot (Danielle) and Kyle (Linda); cherished grandchildren Kimberly, Haley, Alexa and Michael; stepchildren Corky, Jackie Gaudenzi and Robin Underwood; siblings Jack Sohl and Kathleen Eagan; as well as numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Geri will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, followed by a visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
