February 18, 1946 ~ October 19, 2023
The Most Loving husband, father and "Greatest Pop Pop Ever" passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 19, 2023 with JoAnn by his side.
Jerry was a kind, loving and compassionate man. He and JoAnn had a special love between them that carried them through life's ups and downs. Just being together going to Atlantic City (Jerry loved playing Poker), going out for dinner or just playing cards at home were happy times for them.
Family was most important to him. His children, step children and grandchildren were his pride and joy! He always encouraged everyone to do their best and was always there to listen to a problem.
Whether it was building sandcastles at the beach, cheering them on at sports events, concerts or dance recitals, Pop Pop was always there with a big smile.
Jerry will be watching us from heaven and will always be in our hearts.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents Dan and Josephine Pino and his sister Rosemarie Biondi, and is survived by his loving wife JoAnn and his eight children from his blended family; Jennifer Pino, Gina Plaia (Michael), Lori Ann Bracco, Stephanie Bracco (Rob), Michelle Moroney (Matt), Toni Ann Cardell, Jo Ann Vitellaro (Michael) and Joseph Bracco (Donald). Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Abigail, Gabriella, Gianna, Faith and Dion, his sister Sandra Trezza and brother (in law) Coney (Tony) Trezza.
A visitation for Gerald will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, with services to begin at 3:30 PM.
