George R. Horn, 75, of Manchester passed away at home on February 22nd, 2012. Born in Jersey City he resided in Middletown and Toms River prior to moving to Manchester 10 years ago. He attended St. Paul’s Grammar School, St. Aloysius High School and later graduated from Rutgers University in 1962. He was employed as an Accounts Manager for Airco/BOC Welding Products in Murray Hill, NJ for 45 years until his retirement in 2002. He was an Army Veteran serving from 1955-1956 and served as president of The Jersey Coast Speakers Club. Surviving are his son Kenneth Horn of Beachwood; daughters Diana and husband Joseph Jacobs of Neptune City and Laurie and husband Andrew Spedaliere of Beachwood and 5 grandchildren Brandon, Kyle, Joey, Dominic, and Kasie. Visitation will be Saturday February 25th, 2012 from 2-6pm at The Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 5pm during visitation. Interment will be private.
