Born in Paterson, he resided there and graduated from Central Paterson High School before settling in Seaside Heights many years ago.
A Navy veteran, he honorably served our country during World War II and spent his service on the USS Charger, CVE30, and the USS Antietam CV36.
He was predeceased by his son, Frank Parese, and his daughter, Christine Parese.
Surviving are his son, Robert Parese; his nieces: Adele Buschmann and her husband Edmund Jr., Shirley Maietta, Richard Nugnes and his wife Linda, and Rosemarie Occhipinti; his great-nieces and great-nephews: Felix Maietta and his wife Theresa, Alyssa Maietta, Christopher Maietta, Patty Maietta and her husband David, Carla Gray and her husband Paul, Daniel Gray, Lisa Buschmann, Edmund Buschmann III and his wife Jun, and Ricky Nugnes and his wife Leslie; his great-great-niece: Giana; and many other extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 4-6PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ.
A visitation will also be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 11:15AM - 11:45AM at Our Lady of Pompei, 70 Murray Ave, Paterson, NJ. Entrance to church can be found on Caldwell Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12PM. Funeral procession will continue to Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to the American Legion.
