Frances Ann Ambrosio

Frances Ambrosio passed away on September 16 at the age of 90. Fran, lovingly known as “Putchie” was born on March 10,1932 to Frank and Concetta Esposito. Fran grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in Little Italy and was the second of four daughters. She married the love of her life, John Ambrosio on August 22, 1953. Fran and John settled down in 1964 in Lake Hopatcong, NJ where they built their forever home and raised their 3 children. Fran worked for Pathmark for over 30 years before retiring in 2015.

Fran was always the life of the party and loved music. You could find her on the dance floor at any party or always singing a song. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and vacationing together in the Outer Banks. Fran is survived by her 3 children; Daughter, Denise and husband Octavio, Sons Daniel and wife Marlo & Michael and wife Koren. Granddaughters, Brittania & Jacqueline, Great Granddaughters Francesca & Angelina and Sister, Mona. She is predeceased by her husband John, daughter Mary and sisters Lucy and MaryLou.

Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11th from 4pm-8pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ.
