Evelyn M. Sutton

Born and raised in Trenton, Evelyn spent her whole life there before relocating to Whiting in 2013. She was a homemaker and had a love for bingo, knitting, cooking, visiting Atlantic City, vacations in Seaside Heights, and above all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Sutton was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sutton Jr.; her parents, Michael and Helen Yurcho. Surviving are her grandchildren, Michael Yurcho, Nichole Ivins and Shelby Ivins; special niece, Jolyn Yurcho; sister-in-laws, Marj Hopwood and Michele and Joseph Nix; brother-in-law, Robert Gibbs; and loving nieces, Cathy Riccioni and Dana Gibbs; loving nephews, Joseph Nix Jr., Kevin and Benjy Hopwood, and Robert Gibbs Jr.; and beloved pets Nellie and Buddy; and friends near and far.

Cremation is private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Evelyn's family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Evelyn's name to the American Cancer Society or a local animal shelter.
