Elizabeth Betty C. Bischof Price

Elizabeth C. “Betty” Price, 87, of Berkeley Twp. passed away on February 16, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Newark, she lived in Iselin for 22 years before moving to Holiday City in Berkeley Twp. 38 years ago. She worked for JCP&L in Toms River for 10 years retiring 25 years ago. Betty was the last active original member of the Pinelands Reformed Church in Toms River. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Cedarette.

She was predeceased by her husband Lester F. Price in 2004. She is survived by her son Lester Price and his wife Karen of Lavallette, a daughter Arleen Ramsey of Fredericksburg, VA; a sister, Margaret Kearny of Cape Cod, MA; 4 grandchildren, Beth Parziale and her husband Renny, Janet Parker and her husband Travis, Angie and Nikki Bobko; 3 great-grandchildren Caroline and Nina Parziale and Ethan Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Saturday Feb. 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A memorial service will be offered at Pinelands Reformed Church, 898 Route 37 West, Toms River, 08755 on Sunday, Feb 20 at 2 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to Pinelands Reformed Church.
