She had been a resident of Randolph, NJ for more than 45 years. Born on April 23,1942, she was the daughter of Dr. Frank M. Mastroianni and Florence Smith Mastroianni, RN.
Ms. Mastroianni graduated from Hillside High School in 1960. She graduated from Tus-culum College, Greeneville, TN, with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education in 1964. She did post graduate work at Kean College and Pepperdine University.
She was an educator for over forty years and taught in Pennsylvania, California, and New Jersey. During her long career, Ms. Mastroianni received several prestigious awards for her expertise and dedication to teaching.
She was a thirty-six year member and past president of the College Club of Dover, NJ and a member of Book Club III.
Writing gave her much pleasure. Her poems were published in a variety of newsletters and magazines.
She is survived by her brother Frank M. Mastroianni and his wife Candi of Toms River, NJ, and their two children Dr. Andrea E. Gorman and Neil F. Mastroianni; her sister Emily M. Lattig and her two children Melinda and Justin, and her friends and former stu-dents.
