Eileen Schmitz (née Kilpatrick), 72, passed June 25th with her husband Ron by her side. She was born in Teaneck New Jersey in 1944, was raised in Norwood and lived in Toms River for the last 50 years.
Eileen was predeceased by her mother and father Robert and Grace Kilpatrick. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron Schmitz; sons Jimi Schmitz, Brian Schmitz, Dan Schmitz and his wife Christina; sister Enid Scheachinger; brother Robert Kilpatrick and his wife Anne; brother-in-law Rick Schmitz and his wife Cindy; nephews Ken Schaechinger and his wife Nancy, Dave Schaechinger and his wife Kim, Gary Schaechinger and his wife Heather and Don Schaechinger and granddaughters Jaelyn Schmitz and Sienna Schmitz.
Eileen loved her sports and could be heard over everyone else at every one of her kid’s sporting events cheering them on. She loved Elvis and the music of the 50’s. She was always watching some kind of sporting event on the television. She especially loved her Giants and Mets.
Eileen was loved for her ability to make friends with everyone. Few people in this world had as many friends as Eileen. We thank you for your selfless gifts to everyone you met. You will always be in our hearts and memories Mom. We love you dearly, Ron, Jimi, Brian and Danny. I know better things are on the way!
Visiting will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St, Toms River NJ. Funeral Services will be Thursday, 10:15 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
