Born in New York City, she resided in Brooklyn, NY and Linden, NJ before settling in Toms River about 35 years ago. Edna was an avid dog lover, and often donated to the local SPCA.
Edna was predeceased by her husband, Louis in 2004; and by her son, Joseph in 2020.
Surviving are her son, Edward A. Patalano; three grandchildren: Melissa, Michael, and Dawn; seven great-grandchildren: Ariana, Jasmine, Anthony, Niyla, Jacari, and Maxwell.
A visitation for Edna will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 10AM-12PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Following the visitation will be a committal service at 12:30PM at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
