Dorothy B. Daly

Falling in love Dot and Edward J. Daly (deceased) created a life and family in Jersey City with whom she had four children. She leaves a lineage of love; daughter: Patricia and Husband William Lawler, granddaughters Kerri Lawler and Husband Anthony D’Errico, Katie and husband Matthew Madden; Daughter Barbara and husband Charles T. Kot, granddaughter Devon and Husband Matthew Mazza and Great Granddaughter Penelope Grace, and Grandson Charles E; Her son Edward Jr. and wife Pam Daly, Grandsons, Eric, Chris, Ryan and wife Lisa Daly and son Ryan Jr. and Daughter Coleen and Husband Donald Kubs.

She retired from the phone company in 1988 to her beloved Jersey Shore. A lover of nature, she enjoyed long walks and especially adored the ocean. She had a life-long love affair with apple pie, butter pecan ice cream, movies, and swimming. She was an avid reader while relaxing on her deck.

Dorothy was a member of the Garfield Senior Center and the Beachwood Senior Women’s Club, where she enjoyed bingo and playing cards.

She will be dearly missed by all of those left behind.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Justin the Martyr Church, 975 Fischer Blvd. Toms River. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
