Debra Ann Mount

Debra Ann Mount, 56, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on August 15, 2020. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, lived in Brick before moving to Toms River in 1994, and recently to Fort Myers in 2018. Debra was a graduate of Ocean County College and was employed as a Detective for Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office in Toms River for many years, retiring in 2006. Debra enjoyed spending time at the beach and the beautiful sunny Florida weather. She loved spending time with her family and friends and her dog Yankee.

She was a predeceased by her parents John and Laverne Kertesz. Surviving are her beloved husband of 26 years John Mount; her children John Daniel Mount of Toms River, Mackenzie Mount and Melanie Mount both of Fort Myers; and many loving and caring aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 2 to 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Animal Shelter or Associated Human Society in memory of Debra.
