Claire J. Stibich, age 103, of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on July 4, 2024 at Freedom Plaza Retirement Community. Claire was born on June 18, 1921 in Jermyn, PA to James Wasley (deceased) and Caroline Reichert (deceased). Beloved sister of Grace Wasley Knipper (deceased) and aunt to Lorraine Tressel. She leaves behind nine step children, numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Her family moved to New Jersey and New York where she met and married Joseph Keele. They retired to Sun City Center Florida where Joseph passed away. She was step mother to his four children.
Claire married Raymond Stibich (deceased) in 1993. She was step mother to his five children.
She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, particularly her dear lifelong friends Edith Cacciola (deceased) and Eileen Cormier (deceased).
Her funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. Arrangements are by the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home of Toms River, NJ.
