Carol was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 8, 1947, and graduated from James J. Ferris High School in Jersey City, NJ. She was married to Roy R. Miller on October 28, 1967, at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Jersey City, NJ.
Carol worked during her early years at Western Electric, before taking on the hardest, and most important job of all, raising two boys. Later in life, Carol worked at the Candle Factory in Beachwood, NJ where she was able to use her passion for creativity.
Carol is preceded in death by her mother, and best friend, Barbara “Bubbles” Belka.
Carol is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roy R. Miller; her oldest son, Brian E. Miller and daughter-in-law, Lori J. Miller; youngest son Craig M. Miller and partner Julianne Hall; two grandchildren Liam R. Miller and Aidan J. Miller, and her three cousins James Reese, Dolores “Dolly” Reese-Greiner, and Joseph Walejko.
From an early age, Carol loved spending time at the beach and spent many summers with her husband, children and close family in Belmar and Spring Lake Heights, NJ. After moving from Jersey City to Beachwood, NJ and living “down the shore”, she enjoyed summers with her family at the beach in Seaside Park.
Pallbearers will be James O’Conner, James Reese, Brian Miller, Craig Miller, Liam Miller, and Aidan Miller.
There will be no visitation hours. A catholic mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Jersey City, NJ at 11:00AM on Nov 4, 2021. Burial services for family will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ, immediately after the mass.
