Beverly Anne Cimer, 79, of Barnegat, NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2011. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Blackwood, NJ, and was both a Sunday school teacher and deacon there from 1975 to 1984. Mrs. Cimer was a live-in nanny for children from 1985 to 1995 and was a volunteer at the Camden County Animal Shelter in Voorhees, NJ; where she was later employed from 1995 to 2004.
Beverly loved cats and cared for many stray cats throughout her life. She had a house cat until the day she was hospitalized in 2004. She also had a cat in the nursing home until her death.
Beverly is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: Steven A. Cimer and his wife Gina, and Robert G. Cimer and his wife Elizabeth. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Aaron, Aidan, and Aryonna.
There will be a gathering in her memory on Saturday, September 10th, from 2-4 p.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. The Memorial Service will be immediately following at 4:00 p.m. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com
