Barbara H Schroeder

Barbara H. Schroeder, 86, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Friday December 18, 2020 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ she lived for 55 years in Kearny, NJ before moving to Toms River. Barbara worked for 50 years until her retirement as a sales manager at Bamberger’s/Macy’s.

She was a devout catholic, parishioner, and volunteer of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church in Kearny where she shared her many prayers for all in need. She was an avid walker who would use her walks to recite prayers on her rosary beads.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Barbara was selfless in every sense of the word, who was loved by family, friends and all who knew her. She will be sorely missed, never forgotten, and always remembered.

Heaven gained the hardest working angel where she was embraced by her sister Jean, brothers Joey and Todd, and her parents Mae and Joseph.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years William Schroeder, their three children Debra, William and Cynthia, spouses Debbie and Steve, and her six grandchildren Erik, Samantha, Zachary, Amanda, Evan, and Courtney.

Due to Covid-19 concerns the family is having a private viewing, funeral mass, and entombment. A memorial will be planned to properly celebrate her life hopefully later in 2021.
