Antoinette Maione

Antoinette Maione, 80, of Barnegat, NJ passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Stafford Twp., NJ. Born in Newark, Antoinette had lived in Piscataway and Stockton before moving to Barnegat 15 years ago. Antoinette was the owner of Antoinette’s Bridal Shop in Edison for 22 years. Antoinette loved gardening, her religion and most importantly her family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in 2000, her daughter, Josephine Maione-Schmidt in 2015 and her son in law Joseph Proleika Jr in 2017, she is survived by her loving children; daughter, Anna Proleika, son Michael Maione and his wife Samantha, six grandchildren, Melissa, Joseph, Jason, Danyelle, Joseph and Makayla. Antoinette is also survived by three great grandchildren; Gianna, Daniel and Isaiah, her two sisters; Philomena Petruzzi, Carmella Mercuro, her loving companion of 16 years, Domenick Mastrocola and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, 9:00 am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, 10:00 am, Berkeley Twp. Entombment will follow to Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in Antoinette’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date once restrictions have been lifted.
