Anthony S Saglimbene

Anthony S. Saglimbene, 88, of Toms River passed away Sunday March 25th, 2012 at Community Medical Center. Born in Hoboken, NJ he grew up in the Bronx and moved to New Milford in 1968 then Toms River in 1988. He was an Army Veteran, Civil War enthusiast, Yankee fan and enjoyed gardening. He worked as a salesman for Flushing Motor Service in Flushing, NY for over 40 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years Adele in 2000. Surviving are his son Dr. Richard G. Saglimbene and wife Mary of Toms River, NJ, daughter Dyanne Sage and fiancé Mark Romanoski of Mechanicsburg, PA, grandchildren Kristine Seymore of Valley Green, PA, Cara Saglimbene of Little Italy, NYC, Jennine Saglimbene of Toms River and Nicholas Saglimbene of Toms River. Visitation will be Thursday March 29th, 2012 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday March 30th, 2012 at 9:30am at St. Justin’s Church 975 Fisher Blvd. Toms River, NJ 08753.
