Anthony R. Dragotti

Anthony R. Dragotti, 76, of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Tony had lived in Toms River for 20 years before moving to Berkeley Twp. Tony was a Paper Salesman at Buckley Dutton for most of his career before retiring and opening two video stores (Captain Video) in Ocean County and his Ice Cream Shop (Peacheys) in Toms River. Later on in his retirement he worked at Sears as an Appliance Salesman, Toms River.

Tony loved to go fishing, playing cards but most importantly spending time with his family.

Tony was predeceased by his first wife Rosemary in 2007 and his father Anthony, and is survived by his mother Carmela (Nana Dolly), his wife Janet Scoppettuolo Dragotti, his two children; son, Jeffrey and his wife Gigi, daughter Kara Dorso and her husband Brian, his three granddaughters, Marissa, Devon and Kaylee. Tony is also survived by his three brothers, Patrick (Virginia), Dennis (the late Toni), Jeffrey (Josie), four brother in laws, Steve (the late Joanne), Anthony (Lauren), John (Lorraine), Anthone Ciano, three sister in laws, Susan (the late Charlie) McHale, Cindy Foster (Drew), Christine Assante (the late Andy) and a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 22, 2023 10:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow to St. Joseph's Cemetery, 56 Cedar Grove Rd., Toms River, NJ
