Angela Russo

Angela was born Angela Jean Patti to the late James and Jennie Patti. After her schooling, she worked for Wembly Neck Tie Company until it closed. She then began working at the New Jersey Jewish Home of the Aged, where she remained and retired. After she retired, Angela volunteered at Community Medical Center and Just Believe, a thrift store in Toms River, NJ. She was also a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary for Women.

Angela's life took a wonderful turn when she met Frank Russo. Their immediate spark for each other led them to marry 6 months later. Together, they eventually settled in Piscataway where they raised their daughter together. A dedicated and hardworking wife and mother, Angela was a woman with many interests. She loved to read and do Word Searches. Both were hobbies she cherished most of her life. She also never passed up an opportunity to go dancing. Her favorite times were on the dance floor and loved to teach dancing and get everyone on their feet to dance the night away. 

Above all Angela enjoyed being with her family. Her favorite times were with those who called her grandma. She was so proud of her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Laskowski; son-in-law, Richard Laskowski; her cherished grandsons, Jake, Ben, and Luke; and many more dear relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11am to 1pm. at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1329 Rt. 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755
