Anastasia “Stacey” Miron passed away peacefully on January 2nd, with her loving family by her side. She loved with all her heart and showed kindness to everyone she met. Stacey was born in New York City on January 14th, 1975. From an early age, Stacey was unstoppable; there was nothing she couldn’t do. She excelled in all her classes in the Brick and Toms RIver School systems. After high school, Stacey found her role as a greeter at Home Depot. She worked with the company for over 20 years and was beloved for the kindness with which she treated her customers and her knowledge of every department in the store. She participated in the Special Olympics and was actively involved with the ARC of Ocean County. She loved attending dances and banquets and in Stacey’s words, “bowling was her sport.” To know Stacey was to love her, and she will be loved and missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Linda & Stan Koba, her siblings Lauren (Eric) Davies, Nancy (Alex) Alarcon, Matthew and his fiancee Emma. She was the loving aunt to her precious niece & nephews Logan, Skylar, Spencer, & Jack. She is survived by her parents at birth, Stephanie & Stephen Miron and her siblings Alexis, Alexandra (Volker) Simianer, Tatyana (Werner) Ahlers and Nicholas; nieces & nephews Wolf, Anouk, Otto, Federico, and Oona. The Koba and Miron families would also like to thank the special people who provided emotional and physical support: Camila, Diana, and the VNA hospice nurses that were always there, especially Brandi.
Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, January 7th, from 2-5 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. There will be a service Monday morning for family and friends. She will be laid to rest at Ocean County Memorial park beside her grandparents, Nancy and Jack Herbster.
