Alice Barkasy

Alice Barkasy, 92, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Wednesday August 21st at Community Medical Center. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA she lived in Edison, NJ for many years before moving to Toms River 30 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River, NJ.

Alice was predeceased by her husband John P. Barkasy and by her son John Barkasy. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Dorothy Lane and by many loving nieces and nephews. Also her beloved friends Rosemary Barbera of Whiting, NJ, Ann Isenegger of Piscataway, NJ and Stanley Stanul of Bayonne, NJ.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday August 25th from 4-8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday August 26th at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
