We were very sorry to hear of Al’s passing. Dan worked with Al  at PSEG they had some great times together. We also had great times with Al and Carol.  Al had a great personality and a good heart.   Chris & Dan Paparazzo 

I am shocked and sorry to hear about Albert's death. I remember as a kid always looking forward to visit 'Uncle Al" and "Aunt Catey", especially during the holidays.

They were a super kind and generous family - and I think this rubbed of on Albert and Tommy.

 I remember that I would always pester him to see his collection of model airplanes - one of his hobbies - and a hobby that I picked up and continue to this day - Thanks to Albert for the Inspiration (And I will never ever to be as good as Albert !)

 Albert always impressed me as unpretentious - but always happy! He lived life as best as he could and appreciated and understood the value of traveling (Maine as well as other places).

 As we aged our families went separate ways but I always remember Uncle Al, Aunt Caty, Tommy and of course Albert.  The last time I saw Albert was August 2018  in Toms River. 

 So I will conclude to say that he was a very positive influence on one of his little cousins and I am sure that , as I read these notes , that he touched many people.

 God Bless you !  We won't see another of you !

I cannot imagine ever having a better brother than Al!

I never heard anyone say a bad word about him.  He never complained, and he was always willing to help.  Al was well liked by everyone he ever met.  If you did not know better, you would think that everyone knew him.  If we had to go someplace, he knew how to get there, he would do the driving, he would find a good parking space, and when we arrived at the location,  someone there would know him (restaurant owners, store owners, clerks, waiters/waitresses) everybody loved Al.

I remember going with Al to a restaurant many years ago in Little Italy and standing in a very long line at the entrance when Al motioned to us to follow him.  We went down a small alley, opened a door and walked into the active kitchen, and we were promptly escorted to a table (the owners knew Al),

Our family gatherings will never be the same without Al.  He was the most sociable person I know, and I believe that his friends, my friends, JoAnn's friends, AnnMarie's friends and anyone else that  ever met him also feel the same way.

Al was totally devoted to Carol, and was a great husband.

Al will be greatly missed by anyone who ever met him.

I was blessed with the best brother anyone could ever have. 


Rest in Peace  AL, We always enjoyed seeing you and Carol at Judy & Joes house.

Albert was a Great guy..One of the Best..As kids growing up on Mt. Prospect Ave. in Newark we had great times playing football in the little park. Later in life while working for PSE&G he would always stop in my  wife's flower shop downtown Newark just to say hello..RIP ^j^ ^j^

My sincere condolences to everyone. Our families were friends when we were little in Newark Out parents were best friends for years. May he Rest In Peace   The nicest. 

Al was known as the Mayor of N. Arlington where he grew up --he knew everyone.  Bill & I were fortunate to have him & Carol as our dear friends for 56 yrs.   Good times to name a few, I remember the early years making pizza, his incredible salad, so simple, but I could never duplicate and his Italian gravy.  So many laughs, never thought they'd end...Florida, Maine, Jersey excursions, NY at his favorite restaurant, our house, his house.  
Al, you've gone to a better place and will forever be in our hearts. Miss you my friend ...
