Adam Ian Martin

Adam Ian Martin, 45, of Toms River, NJ, passed away suddenly at home on November 3, 2017. He was born in England to John and Priscilla Martin. Adam lived most of his life in Kearny, NJ, before moving to Toms River 18 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Justin the Martyr RC Church in Toms River. He worked for Johnson & Baron Trucking in Bayville as a truck driver. Adam was an avid sports fan, a proud Cheer Dad, and the Voice of the Angels Pop Warner Football Team. He was a loving family man whose wife and children were the center of his life.

Adam is survived by the love of his life, his wife Tara Poplaski Martin of 19 years; his beloved children: Jonathan, Daniel, and Madelyn all at home, his two brothers: Alan Martin and his wife Pamela of Beachwood, and Brian Martin and his wife Karen of Florida; his mother-in-law Susan Poplaski of Toms River; his faithful dog “Tuck”, and many caring friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8th, from 4 to 8PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 9th, at 9:30AM at St. Justin the Martyr Church, 975 Fischer Boulevard in Toms River. Cremation will be private.
