Virginia Marquez Jurado was surrounded and protected by her two beloved sons as she took her last breath on October 22, 2021 after a lengthy and painful battle with many health issues. She was 72.
Virginia was a dedicated caretaker first and foremost. She treasured her family and enjoyed every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She was kind and caring and always made the people around her feel special.
If you know Virginia then you know that she was always 20 minutes late to everything, had a love of McDonalds Coffee, always had a piece of fruit to offer and never turned down a hug from someone she cared about.
She is the loving and devoted mother of Ceasar J. Hernandez (Kerri) and Serjio J. Hernandez Sr. (Yvette) and the proud Nana of Serjio Hernandez Jr., Jesse Hernandez, Talia Hernandez, Isabelle and Lillian Hernandez and she was overjoyed to be the Great-Nana to Serjio III and Laylah Hernandez.
Virginia was from a large family and leaves behind many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her mother Cruz Marquez and father Tony Jurado, as well as, sisters Juanita Rodriguez, Lydia Jurado Claussen and brother Fred Jurado. Her family is finding solace that they are once again reunited.
Join her family on Wednesday, November 10th to celebrate the life of Virginia Jurado.
