Sheldon “Lee” Felt, born on August 5, 1947, in North Dakota, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Lee lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Lee’s early years were shaped by a childhood spent moving around due to his parents’ service in the military; his father served in the Air Force, and his mother was in the Navy. One of his greatest memories was living in Japan during his teenage years. In 1966, he moved to Tucson, Arizona, where he met the love of his life, Doris Wing, at a dance. They married and welcomed two daughters, Michelle and Christine, before moving to Phoenix for a new job at Honeywell. It was in Phoenix that they welcomed their youngest daughter, Kim.
Lee worked as a microfiche operator for most of his professional life and later took on various jobs before retiring due to disability. He had a passion for working on cars and boats, loved hunting, and enjoyed spending time at the lake. A devoted fan of NASCAR, he cherished being surrounded by family. His greatest joy came from the moments spent with his seven grandchildren and his great-granddaughter Gracie, with another granddaughter on the way.
Lee is survived by his wife, Doris; daughters Michelle, Christine, and Kim; his sisters, Sharon, Shirley, and Terry; his late brother Keith; and his cherished grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on May 17, 2025 at 2pm at his daughter Christine’s residence.
