Phillip Richard Romero

Phillip Richard Romero, a devoted husband and loving father, passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 58.

Born August 27, 1965 in McNary, AZ, Phillip lived a life filled with love, joy, and cherished moments. For 38 years, he was the dedicated and adoring husband to his beloved wife Maria, and a loving father to their two children, Eliana and Emil.

Phillip's passion for life extended beyond his family as he found joy in his favorite pastimes. An enthusiastic golfer, he spent countless hours on the fairways, forging friendships and creating lasting memories with each swing of the club. Phillip's love for the magical world of Disneyland was evident in the countless family vacations spent exploring the parks, creating a treasure trove of happy memories that will be forever cherished.

An unwavering fan of Arizona State University athletics, Phillip's spirit soared with each game. His enthusiasm and support for the teams were contagious, leaving an indelible mark on those who shared in the excitement with him.

Phillip Romero will be remembered not only for his accomplishments and hobbies but for the warmth, kindness, energy, sense of humor and love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. He was generous, giving, and thoughtful. It was rare to find Phillip without a smile on his face. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his vibrant spirit.

Phillip is survived by his wife Maria, two children, Eliana and Emil, his brother Anthony, Sister Teresa, and parents Ana and Emil Jr.

A memorial service to celebrate Phillip's life will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 with viewing beginning at 8:30 a.m and services at 10:00 am at Advantage Crystal Rose, 9155 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson, AZ. Burial to follow at Noon at Holy Cross Cemetery 9925 W. Thomas Road Avondale, AZ 85392.
