Maria A. Salas age 67, passed peacefully with her two daughters by her side on September 14, 2023. Born in Nogales, raised in Tuscon, Arizona. She met and fell in love with Elio Salas. She raised her four children while going to Phoenix College to get her degree in psychology. Her passions in life were working with children, music, and her family. She also loved sharing memories of her siblings and life in the 70’s. Her greatest joy in life was serving the lord. Maria is survived by her beloved husband Elio Cortez Salas Sr., her two sons Elio Salas Jr. and Peter Salas. Her two daughters Melissa Weyhousen and Angel Medina. Her grandchildren Nathan Scott, Peter Salas Jr., Joshua and Ruben Wayhousen and Angelica, Alexander, Isabella and Hector Jr. Medina.
