Maria Luisa Esparza

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Maria Luisa Esparza, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Maria Luisa was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on March 12, 1938 to Jesus and Celia. Maria Luisa married the love of her life, Mario Esparza in 1956. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1962, where they raised their two daughters.

Maria was known for her chic fashion sense and elegant demeanor. She loved to dance, sing, cook and watch novelas. Maria was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Ma” to her 5 grandchildren. Any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Mario; children: Leticia (Jose Luis) and Oralia; grandchildren: Jose Luis, Jorge Ruben, Jacqueline, Veronica and Vanessa; as well as her beloved chihuahua Muñeca

A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 W Van Buren St, Tolleson, AZ 85353

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 3630 N 71st Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85033
